outs that the present boat
"Sir William Hillary"
has been involved in
since she came on Station in 1988.
In that time there have been some very dramatic rescues and some rather
bizarre ones as well, every call out is treated with the same
professional manner that the RNLI is know and respected for, every call
out brings with it, its own special needs and requirements, with regards to the
weather and the sea conditions, and that is why the crews in all five
stations around the island, as well as those in the UK and Ireland have to regularly carryout
exercises to maintain there skills, and be ready at all times for the
CALL! |
